
Algonquin Park Wildlife Photography Workshops & Tours offers a range of custom designed photography trips into one of the worlds oldest and most famous parks. Whether you're a professional photographer or a novice, we will be able to meet your needs.
Ontario's Algonquin Park has a unique mixture of forest types and the wide variety of ecosystems allows it to support an uncommonly large array of plant & animal species.
Itineraries are planned to concentrate on wildlife or landscape photography.

Professional nature photographer, guide and instructor Michael Bertelsen was born and raised near Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada.
His work is sold internationally and his images are used in magazines, advertisements and even album covers.
He has been photographing nature since he was a young teenager. In 1988 he started his carrer as a guide. In 1994 a professional nature photographer and cinematographer from the U.S hired Michael to guide them for Loons. The images they captured were subsequently used in award winning work. This trip was an inspiration for Michael and since that time he has been running one of Canada's leading photography tours and workshops; guiding beginners as well as professional photographers from around the world.
Michael's goal is to offer his small group of guests (4 to 6 people) exceptional wildlife and landscape photo opportunities, along with helpful tips and techniques that will maximize their photographic skills. All aspects of nature and wildlife photography are covered, including: proper composition and exposure, when to use different camera focus modes, long lens and tripod techniques, lens selection, animal behavior, and much more.
Michael is familiar with almost all makes of cameras. He shoots both Nikon and Canon equipment.
