Loon Photography Tours & Workshops

Water FallTo North Americans the loon is a symbol of wilderness and solitude. Its' stunning beauty has made it one of the most sought after birds to photograph. To get the sharpest images possible we use monopods or tripods set up in a very stable 18' boat with comfortable swivel seats and a removable top to protect us from the sun & rain. The 40 hp outboard will get us to our destination quickly, but when we arrive a silent electric motor gets us in close to the loon & offers you up close photo opportunities.

Itinerary: Meet at Tim Horton's parking lot on Hwy 60 in Huntsville (times yet to be determined). We will be on the water for the early morning light. Breakfast will be served on board the boat, and by midday, we will return in order to rest and have some lunch. Then back on the water for the evening light. Snacks and bottled water served on board the boat.

Because I shoot real Wildlife (excluding buffalo) some of my workshops could come and go in a matter of days.
If I have located wolves, fox, bear, etc; our window of opportunity is very small.
